All spreadsheets need to have the column name in row 1. This can be a language or a field name.


I recommend to prefix the name by a tag that describes the column type, like this:


>>E<<Entry Id

>>L<<DE

>>T<<Note

>>L<<EN

>>T<<Note


Available Column types:

  • >>E<<         Entry level field
  • >>L<<         Language
  • >>I<<        Index level field
  • >>T<<        Term level field
  • >>S<<        Sub field


Excluding a file from processing


If you want to keep a column in a spread sheet, but temporarily hide it, just put an X in the tag, like this: >>XT<<

The field will be added to the field list as a text field, and automatically ignored.
